# Trigger The Algorithm Promo Strategy: 3 Levels

**To get your music to go viral on digital streaming platforms (DSPs) like Spotify, you need to trigger the platform's algorithms. This is similar to going viral on social media. Following the steps in this video can increase the odds of going viral from 1% to 10%, 20%, or even 60%.**

While going viral is never a guaranteed outcome, the key strategy is not about trying to "trick" the algorithms, but rather doing everything possible to put your music in the best position to go viral.

Keep in mind that going viral on DSPs is not about a single trick or hack, but rather a strategic, multi-faceted approach that puts the music in the best position to succeed algorithmically. Watch the full video to see how to use this for yourself.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.foreverfanmusic.com/courses/fast-track-your-spotify-rollout-boost-streams.-gain-real-fans./trigger-the-algorithm-promo-strategy-3-levels.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
