# Email Campaigns

Email is how you reach fans directly in their inbox. You build an email, choose who gets it, and send it now or later. Everything you have written, sent, or scheduled sits on one page: the Email tab.

Email campaigns are part of a paid plan.

## Your campaign list

The Email tab lists every campaign, newest first. Each row shows the date, the name, its performance, and its status.

### What the statuses mean

A campaign moves through a few states:

* **Draft.** You started it but have not sent it. Drafts stay here until you send or delete them.
* **Scheduled.** It is set to go out at a time you picked. You can still change it. See [scheduling and sending](/email-campaigns/scheduling-and-sending.md).
* **Sending.** It is going out right now.
* **Sent.** It has gone out. Sent rows show how it did.
* **Cancelled.** You called off a scheduled send, or you deleted a draft. It stays on the list as a record.

### Reading the performance column

Once an email is sent, its row shows two numbers:

* **Opened.** The share of fans who opened it.
* **Clicked.** The share who clicked a link inside it.

For the full picture on a single email, open it. See [email reports](/email-campaigns/email-reports.md).

## Duplicating and deleting drafts

Every campaign has a small menu (the three dots on its row).

* **Duplicate this email** makes a fresh draft that is an exact copy of the design. This is the fastest way to send a similar email again, or to start from something that already looked right.
* **Delete** removes a draft. A deleted campaign moves to cancelled and stays on the list, so your history is never lost.

## Email credits

Every send uses credits, one per fan you send to. Your plan includes **10,000 email credits a month**, and they refill to the full amount on the 1st.

The credits strip at the top of the Email tab shows how many you have left and when they refill.

### If you need more

You can buy extra credits in blocks of **1,000 for $1.50**. Use the "need more?" option on the credits strip, or email us at <hello@foreverfanmusic.com>.

{% hint style="info" %}
Going over your balance does not block a send. If a send would use more credits than you have, it still goes out, and the team follows up with you about credits afterward. You will never miss a send because of a credit count.
{% endhint %}
