# Email Reports

Open any sent email to see how it did. The report is four plain numbers at the top, plus a preview of what fans received.

<figure><img src="/files/1lUMlBaZDr3GVaOS4glg" alt="A sent email report showing the four metric tiles"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## The four numbers

* **Delivered.** How many fans actually received it, shown as a share of everyone you sent to. Below it you see how many bounced and how many marked it as spam.
* **Opened.** How many opened it, as a share of delivered.
* **Clicked a link.** How many clicked a link inside it, as a share of delivered.
* **Unsubscribed.** How many chose to stop getting your emails, as a share of delivered.

## Why opens are approximate

The opened number is a close estimate, not an exact count. Some mail apps preload or open emails on the fan's behalf before they ever look, and others hide opens entirely. Treat opens as a good sense of the trend rather than a precise headcount.

## See exactly which fans

Delivered, Opened, and Clicked are not just numbers. Click one and it takes you to your [Audience page](/your-audience/filters-and-the-map.md), already filtered to the fans it covers. So you can, for example, click Opened and see the actual list of fans who opened this email, ready to tag or follow up with.

## What the report does not show

The report does not break down clicks link by link. It tells you how many fans clicked something, not which link each one clicked.

## Every email has an unsubscribe link

ForeverFan adds an unsubscribe link to every email you send, automatically. You do not add it, and there is no way to leave it out. A fan who unsubscribes stops receiving your emails and is left out of future sends on their own, which is why they never count against a later campaign.
