# Tour Links

A tour link is a single page that lists all your shows. Fans open it, find their city, and either buy a ticket or tell you they want to come. You keep adding and editing shows on the same link, so the address you share never changes as your run fills in.

The useful trick is that not every show has to be booked. You can list a confirmed date with a ticket link right next to a city where you are only testing whether anyone would show up.

## Two modes for each show

Every show on the page is in one of two modes. You choose per show, and you can change your mind later.

**Ticket sales mode** sends a fan straight to your ticket link. Use it for dates that are booked and on sale. A sales show needs all of:

* Location
* Venue or title
* Date
* Ticket link

**RSVP mode** collects fan details instead of selling anything. Use it to measure interest before a show exists. An RSVP show needs only a **location**, so you can add a city with no venue and no date just to see who is nearby and wants a show. Venue, date, and a post-collection redirect are all optional. You also choose what to collect from the people who RSVP: email only, phone only, or both.

Because RSVP mode only needs a city, it is the fastest way to answer "should we even play here." Drop in a handful of cities, share the link, and watch where the RSVPs land.

## Adding shows

Open your tour link and add a show. You will pick how to add it:

* **Selling Tickets**: a single date, ticket sales mode.
* **RSVP (Collect Data)**: a single date or city, RSVP mode.
* **Upload CSV**: add many shows at once from a spreadsheet.

Bulk imports are covered on their own page: [Importing Shows](/links/importing-shows.md).

## How fans see the order

Fans do not see your shows in the order you added them. ForeverFan works out roughly where a fan is and sorts the list so the closest shows come first. Someone in Chicago sees the Chicago area dates at the top; someone in London sees the UK dates first. Cities you added in RSVP mode with no date tend to float up too, so nearby interest is easy to catch.

## When a show sells out

A sold-out date does not have to be a dead end. Switch that show from ticket sales mode to **RSVP mode**. Now instead of sending fans to a sold-out ticket page, you are collecting the details of everyone who still wants in. That list is your evidence for adding a second night or moving to a bigger room, and it is a list of people you can message directly.

To reach those fans, head to email campaigns and filter your audience down to the people who RSVPed. See [Choosing Recipients](/email-campaigns/choosing-recipients.md) and the RSVP option in [Filters and the Map](/your-audience/filters-and-the-map.md). Sending campaigns is a paid feature.
