The Apple Music Presave Problem

Unlike Spotify, Apple Music does not have a built-in presave feature. Apple Music users are limited by Apple to presaving all releases only for a period between 6-12 months.
Beyond that, the reality is that Apple Music presaves are notoriously unreliable. Many artists and labels have reported issues with functionality. Major companies, including Sony, have ended up requiring fans to copy and paste links into Safari just to complete the process (see example screenshot below). Others have opted to bypass Apple’s presave entirely, instead collecting fan emails for direct marketing.
ForeverFan tries to give you as much of an option as possible. We will attempt to complete an Apple Music presave. However, some devices/browsers will block the pop up required by Apple Music to complete these pre-saves. This is entirely due to the way Apple Music operates and ForeverFan is unable to control this. So, if the users are unable to proceed, we save any information that you chose to collect during the data collection process. This ensures Apple Music users stay engaged even without traditional presaves.
Additionally, since Apple Music does not support permanent Forever Presaves, we recommend refreshing your presave campaigns every 6-12 months for Apple Music fans.
