Tour Links
How to Use Tour Links
Overview
A Tour Link is your all-in-one destination to convert fan interest in a potential or planned tour into actionable first-party contact data. It allows you to collect RSVPs from fans, gauge demand in different locations, and automatically notify fans when tickets become available.
A Tour Link contains multiple buttons, each representing a show. Each show can be in one of two modes:
RSVP Mode: Collects fan contact information to gauge interest before tickets go on sale. Can include an optional post-collection redirect.
Sales Mode: Sends fans directly to the ticket purchase link when tickets become available.
You can switch a show from RSVP Mode to Sales Mode at any time, and if you want, fans who RSVP’d will automatically receive an alert when tickets go live. For this reason, tour links work great both if:
You want to gauge interest on a potential tour.
You want to sell tickets to an already-planned tour.
Because RSVP mode collects contact information before sending fans to a post-collection redirect, you can use RSVP mode if you want to collect data before sending fans to buy tickets as well.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Creating a Tour Link
To set up a Tour Link:
Go to the Links section in your dashboard.
Click Create New Link button and select Tour Link.
Enter a name for your tour link (e.g., "Spring 2025 Tour")

2. Adding Shows to Your Tour Link
You can add shows manually or upload them in bulk.
Option 1: Manually Adding a Show
Click Add Show.
Choose whether the show is in RSVP Mode or Sales Mode:
RSVP Mode: Collects fan emails, names, phone numbers, and Instagram handles.
Sales Mode: Sends fans directly to the ticket link.
If using RSVP Mode, enter the city and optional details like venue, date, and ticket link.*
Note that **only the city is required**, meaning that you can collect interest for a city that you have no planned show in!
If using Sales Mode, enter the required details: location, date, venue, and ticket link.*
Click Save.

Option 2: Bulk Upload Shows
Click Bulk Upload.
Choose to upload from CSV or BandsInTown.

3. Sorting and Managing Your Tour Dates
By default, shows are sorted by date.
You can manually reorder them by dragging and dropping.
If you add an RSVP-only city (with no date yet), it will appear at the top!

4. Converting RSVP Mode to Sales Mode
When tickets become available, you can switch a show from RSVP Mode to Sales Mode:
Locate the event on the Tour Dates tab, and click edit.
Click Convert to Sales Mode.
Enter the ticket link and any missing details.
Use your checkmarks to opt in to alerts.
Fans who RSVP’d will automatically receive an email and/or SMS with the ticket link.

5. Sending Custom Notifications
If you want to send a more custom notification to fans, you can convert the show to Sales Mode without opting into the alerts. Then, you can create an email campaign and filter your audience by RSVP to send a fully custom message.
